Five-Star ANCAP Rating To Honda Accord & City
The 14YM Honda Accord* and the all-new Honda City have achieved the maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating.
“We are pleased that these important models in our sedan range have received a five-star rating from ANCAP,” said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins.
The Accord achieved a score of 35.79 out of a possible 37. It features a number of safety technologies as standard, including a three-mode reversing camera, Trailer Stability Assist, Tyre Deflation Warning system and six airbags to name a few. Higher grade models also feature LaneWatch (VTi-S) and Honda’s Advanced Driver Assist System (VTi-L and V6L) with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Collision Mitigation Braking that are designed to complement driver input.
The all-new City, launched in May, achieved a score of 35.62 out of a possible 37 and is also packed with standard safety features across the line-up including a three-mode reversing camera, Emergency Stop Signal, Hill Start Assist and six airbags.
